BATH — Studio Theatre of Bath will host a Halloween-themed comedy improv night at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, at the Bath Golf Club, 387 Whiskeag Road.

Studio Theatre’s fledgling improv troupe is led by veteran actor and board president Marc Rodriguez. This isn’t Rodriguez’s first rodeo, as it were – he was also a founding member of the very popular Concord, New Hampshire comedy improv troupe, Random Acts of Senseless Theater.

Modeled after the style of the popular TV show, “Whose Line Is It Anyway?”, cast members create scenes, songs, and characters on-the-spot in response to audience suggestion.

Many fixtures of the local theater scene will lend their comedic talents to the show, including Gerald Brann, Letia Fowlie, Cathy Matero, Kendray Rodriguez, Marc Rodriguez, Andy Shatto, and Vince Shatto. The troupe will be joined by guest performer Jason Barnes and musical guest Benjamin Proctor.

Because of the unpredictable nature of improv, this show is recommended for adult audiences only. Tickets are $10 at the door. For more information, visit www.studiotheatreofbath.com.
