Lights are slowly coming up in the Midcoast, three days after a savage Sou’easter wind tore through Maine. For those still without power, check out these places to get warm. charge devices, and shower.

Freeport Community Center, 53 Depot St.; open Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.; warming and charging center, Wi-Fi available.

Pownal Town Hall, 429 Hallowell Road; open as charging and warming center 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Showers available at the fire station located,453 Elmwood Road.

Brunswick Recreation Center at Brunswick Landing is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and on Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. People looking to shower are required to bring their own towels and supplies.
Those seeking a place to warm up may also go to either the Emerson or Central fire stations,  police station or Town Hall. There are no shower facilities available at these locations. Residents who need fresh water may obtain it from either Brunswick fire station.

Harpswell Town Office, 263 Mountain Road; open as warming/charging center.

Topsham Town Office, 100 Main St.: Entryway open as charging station, water faucet outside. Open 24/7.

Topsham American Legion Post 202 on Foreside Road is serving warm meals Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday starting at 3:30 pm. Members will deliver if you cannot get out.

Bowdoinham Fire Department, 57 Post Road; open until 6 p.m. for water, shower, charging, or warming.

Bath Area Family YMCA , 303 Centre St. and Landing Y at Brunswick Landing; open 5 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday. Warming and charging center, showers available.

Bath Foursquare Church Emergency Shelter, 405 Centre St.; opens 6 p.m. Nov. 1. Red Cross regional shelter.

Georgetown Community Center, 19 Schoolhouse Road; for residents, warming, charging, food.

Woolwich Fire and Rescue, 17 Nequasset Road; open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. through Nov. 1.

Wiscasset CommunityCenter, 242 Gardiner Road; open 5 a.m. to 9 p.m. Water, warming, showers, and charging.

Alna Fire Department, 1587 Alna Road; open 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. for water, warming, showers and charging.

Edgecomb Fire Department, 473 Boothbay Road. Call 232-6742 if needed. Water, warming, showers, and charging.

Boothbay Fire Department, 911 Wiscasset Road; open all day, water, warming, showers, and charging.

Boothbay Water District, 184 Adams Pond Road; open for water.

Boothbay Harbor Town Office, 11 Howard St.; open all day, water, heat, and charging available.

Bristol Consolidated School, 2153 Bristol Road; open from 5 a.m. to 8 p.m., water, warming, showers, and charging.
