HARPSWELL — Less than two weeks after a wind storm knocked out power to most of Maine, strong gusts took out power lines on the Cribstone Bridge, connecting Orr’s and Bailey Island, and left about 20,000 Central Maine Power customers in the dark. Again.

According to the Town of Harpswell website, four poles were toppled into the water, making repairs difficult to attempt on Friday, due to high tide.

Power was restored by the morning of Nov. 11, at low tide.
