BOOTHBAY HARBOR — Blending jazz and classical styles, set amidst the decorated historic Opera House, Grammy-winning pianist Paul Sullivan returns with his holiday concert Christmas in Maine on Dec. 7.

Sullivan is a member of the Paul Winter Consort and spent the early years of his career in New York City, conducting on Broadway and performing at Bradley’s and other jazz clubs. He is also a regular composer for Pilobolus Dance Theater and has released dozens of albums over his multi-decade career. He lives and composes in Maine, but continues to travel throughout the U.S. and internationally.

Sullivan’s Christmas in Maine concert is a celebration of the beloved album of his, by the same name. The evening will include selections from the album as well as other inspired music, in Sullivan’s distinctive style.

Advance tickets are $20 for adults and $10 for youth. On the day of the concert, tickets are $25 for all, available through the Opera House box office at 86 Townsend Ave., or by calling 633-5159.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the concert begins at 7 p.m. Refreshments and holiday baked goods will be available for sale during the evening.
